Step back in time with us, and let us show you the newest addition to the Tiffany Collection- the Manhattan lamp.
“So we beat on, boats against the current, borne back ceaselessly into the past.”― F. Scott Fitzgerald, The Great Gatsby
Old World Inspiration
Step back in time with us, 1893 at theColumbian Exposition Chicago. Celebrating the 400th anniversary of Columbus’s arrival in the New World. This fair is a beacon of optimism. Bringing together the inspired arts of the time, we find Tiffany setting up his stall of exquisite stained-glass lamps in a Byzantine-like chapel. As a result, this sets in motion a style that would stand the test of time. Proving its popularity well into the 21st century.
The designs of Tiffany are vast, from the iconic floral brocades to more simplistic art deco line work. Although any design is distinctively Tiffany, the choice of style can be a key decision when selecting your centre.
Fit for the Great Gatsby Himself
For a party fit for Great Gatsby himself, you would want to step away from the floral and look at something clean cut in the twenties style. That’s where the Manhattan Lamp proves to be a good choice. certainly with warm glass tones, the simple silhouette is a complimentary piece rather than a design that distracts the eye. Inspired by the Art Deco lines of twenties design and architecture, the studio chose to commission the Manhattan Lamp.
Hand-crafted in the highest quality glass. Each lampshade is an intricate construction of coloured glass and lead. Investing in world crafts is a great passion of ours and these beauties are a continuation of that.
Excellent experience with Table Art onsite at a fairly small awards ceremony last night. I use them for a lot of different size projects and the level of service and professionalism is the same if it’s a little awards or conference for less than 100 up to large galas of 800 people plus. Couldn’t recommend them highly enough.

Following the unprecedented success of our Cabaret and Tiffany Lamps earlier this year, MD Gary was keen to nurture the range. With heavily detailed Tiffany designs already in the collection, he was looking to create a chic Lamp that was uncomplicated in look.
