Summer Corporate Event Styling at The Grove
Events Are Changing the Way We Celebrate
Events Are Changing the Way We Celebrate
There’s something special about arriving at The Grove on a warm summer morning, coffee in hand, as the sunshine streams across the grounds and the day’s transformation begins. At Table Art, we recently had the pleasure of working alongside Chew Events to create a vibrant summer corporate event that showcased how creative summer corporate event styling can completely transform an outdoor venue.
As more businesses move away from traditional winter awards evenings, we’re seeing a growing demand for relaxed corporate summer events that encourage networking, celebration and team connection in beautiful outdoor settings. This event perfectly captured that shift, combining bold branding, immersive styling and flexible event spaces that evolved throughout the day.
Less formal. More memorable.
Over the past few years, we’ve noticed a significant increase in enquiries for summer corporate events and outdoor celebrations.
Rather than hosting formal black-tie dinners or winter awards ceremonies, many organisations are embracing a more relaxed approach. Garden parties, networking receptions, company celebrations and team experiences are replacing traditional banquet-style events.
The reasons are easy to understand:
It’s a trend we’re excited to see continue, with many clients already booking their summer events well in advance.
Creating a vibrant welcome in the summer sunshine
The first stage of the installation focused on transforming the cabana area.
Using bespoke cabana draping in the client’s striking orange and yellow brand colours, we dressed each structure with flowing fabric and elegant tie-backs that softened the space while creating visual impact.
There’s something incredibly rewarding about installing draping on a sunny summer morning. As the light catches the fabric, the venue immediately begins to feel transformed, setting the tone for the day ahead.
Bringing every brand detail to life.
To reinforce the client’s branding, we designed and created bespoke foam orange boxes that wrapped around the existing columns before finishing them with coordinating fabric draping.
These structural elements became part of the overall design rather than simply decorating the venue.
Every detail worked together to create an immersive branded environment that guests experienced from the moment they arrived.
Creating a new atmosphere as the day evolved
One of the unique aspects of this event was that it didn’t remain static.
As the day progressed, our team returned to install an entirely new feature space for the evening entertainment.
This included:
By changing the styling during the event, the client effectively created two distinct experiences within the same venue.
It’s an increasingly popular approach for summer corporate events, where daytime networking naturally evolves into evening entertainment without requiring guests to relocate.
Creating unforgettable summer experiences
We’re seeing a clear shift in how businesses want their events to feel.
Instead of rows of formally dressed guests seated for lengthy dinners, companies are prioritising experiences that encourage people to interact naturally.
Relaxed seating areas. Cocktails or a glass of fizz in hand. Garden games. Live entertainment. Outdoor lounges. Festival-inspired styling.
The emphasis has moved from formality to atmosphere.
Event styling now plays an even bigger role because it helps define the experience rather than simply decorating the room.
At Table Art, this means designing environments that invite guests to explore, socialise and enjoy themselves while still reflecting the client’s brand identity.
Festival-style event décor
This event at The Grove is just one example of what we’re seeing across the industry. Our upcoming summer calendar is filled with exciting corporate events embracing festival-inspired styling, relaxed seating areas, colourful décor, outdoor bars and entertainment zones that encourage guests to mingle throughout the day. Clients are increasingly looking for bespoke branded installations, from oversized props and custom backdrops to immersive photo opportunities that reflect their brand identity. We’re also seeing a growing demand for flexible event spaces that effortlessly transition from daytime networking to evening celebrations, creating multiple experiences within a single event. It’s an exciting direction for corporate events, allowing businesses to create memorable, engaging experiences for both employees and clients while making the most of the summer season.
At Table Art, we're excited to help shape this growing trend with creative, brand-focused event design.
As businesses continue to embrace summer corporate event styling, we’re excited to help clients make the most of the season. The recent event with Chew Events at The Grove perfectly demonstrated how thoughtful design, bespoke branding and flexible styling can create an engaging atmosphere that evolves throughout the day. From colourful cabana draping to custom installations and evening entertainment spaces, every element was designed to encourage guests to connect and enjoy a more relaxed corporate experience.
With even more festival-inspired summer events on the horizon, we’re looking forward to sharing how this growing trend continues to redefine corporate celebrations.
