Music-Synced LED Table Centres with Live Performance

When Tables Become Part of the Performance

LED table centres and live performance, choreographed to music

Imagine a room where music, table centres, performers and lighting are choreographed as one — a single, immersive moment that captures every guest’s attention. At Table Art, we’ve evolved our music-synced LED table centres into a fully coordinated performance experience by partnering with world-class LED performers Feeding the Fish.

This innovative system transforms table centres from decorative elements into a central part of a carefully designed show moment. By combining bespoke LED table centre programming with live LED performance and room-wide lighting, we create a unified visual experience that feels intentional, polished and unforgettable. Designed especially for awards ceremonies, gala dinners and high-profile corporate events, this approach delivers a true WOW moment at exactly the right point in the evening.

“We’ve always believed table centres should do more than just look good. This is about creating a moment where the whole room is focused on the same thing — the music, the lighting, the performance — and it just works together brilliantly.”

Gary Martin, Managing Director, Table Art

Lighting the Moment

Where table centres, performers and music align

Music-synced LED table centres are carefully pre-programmed lighting installations designed to align precisely with a chosen piece of music. Rather than reacting live, every lighting sequence is composed in advance by our technical team, ensuring that each change in colour, intensity and movement is perfectly timed to the structure and key moments of the track.

Our technician Fred designs each lighting show to match musical beats, drops and transitions, while incorporating company colours, branding elements and visual preferences as requested by the client. This pre-programmed approach allows for complete creative control, consistency across the room and a smooth technical delivery.

Our most effective designs for this system include the Pixel Tube and Neon Ring table centres. Each unit features 30+ individually controllable light sources, creating an extraordinary effect at table level. This level of detail allows us to flash, mix and contrast colours, create smooth ombré fades, rotate lighting patterns, and choreograph dramatic rises and drops — turning every table into an active part of the performance.

Partnering with Feeding the Fish:

LED Performance at a Global Standard

To bring this experience to life, Table Art works in close partnership with Feeding the Fish, an internationally respected LED entertainment company specialising in bespoke live performances for events.

Founded in 1996, Feeding the Fish design and deliver custom-built LED performance shows that combine professional dancers, jugglers and circus-trained artists with proprietary LED technology. Their performances are not off-the-shelf acts — each show is tailored to the event, with content, colour palettes and visual effects designed specifically for the client and venue.

Led by artistic director Alix Wilding and technical director Simon Mylius, Feeding the Fish are known for their innovation in LED performance technology. They invented the world’s first Pixel-Poi® light batons and developed Video Suits® capable of displaying animated graphics, patterns and company logos as performers move through a space. This allows brands to be integrated directly into the performance itself, rather than simply appearing on screens.

How the Coordinated Performance Is Created

This system is built on collaboration and precision.

Once a client selects a piece of music, Table Art and Feeding the Fish form a joint creative and programming team. Programmers from both companies work on the same track, composing a lighting and performance sequence that aligns:

  • LED table centres

  • Live LED dancers and jugglers

  • Room-wide performance lighting

The result is a timecoded, choreographed performance, designed to run seamlessly and consistently on the night. Feeding the Fish can also incorporate company logos, brand colours and animated graphics into their LED costumes, while our table centres are programmed to mirror the same palette and visual language.

When to Schedule the Performance for Maximum Impact

Timing is critical to the success of this experience.

Our top recommendation: schedule the performance after guests have eaten and just before awards begin. At this point, attention is focused, conversations have settled and the room is ready for a shared, high-impact moment.

We advise avoiding:

  • The start of the evening, when guests are finding seats and reconnecting

  • The end of the night, when drinks are flowing and focus is naturally reduced

While there is no technical limit to the number of songs or performances, we strongly recommend one standout performance. This ensures the moment feels special and delivers maximum impact without losing its sense of occasion.

Technical Setup and On-Site Delivery

Designed for smooth delivery, clear responsibility and reliable performance

This experience requires separate contracts with both Table Art and Feeding the Fish, with individual quotes provided by each company.

On site, both teams attend with their own technicians, working closely alongside the venue’s AV team. Table Art technicians run the pre-programmed performance lighting sequence, coordinating cueing and transitions before handing control back to the AV team for the remainder of the event.

This collaborative approach ensures:

  • Clear technical responsibility

  • Smooth transitions

  • Reliable, repeatable performance delivery

Why Coordinated LED Performances Elevate Events

Because the entire room becomes part of the experience

By combining LED table centres, live performance and room lighting, the entire space becomes part of the show. Guests aren’t just watching a performance — they’re immersed within it.

For awards ceremonies and corporate events, this creates:

  • Total audience focus

  • Strong brand reinforcement

  • A shared moment guests remember and talk about

It’s not just décor. It’s a carefully choreographed experience that elevates the entire event atmosphere.
