As we wrap up another whirlwind of a year, it feels like a good moment to pause and take stock, to look at what we’ve learned and where things seem to be heading. The world is shifting fast. Industries are reinventing themselves at a pace we’ve never seen before. We’re talking fully automated “dark” mega-factories and manufacturing moving back closer to where products are actually used.

So what does all this mean for the events world?

Are people going to want more reasons to come together, or will a smaller traditional workforce mean fewer guests to inspire and entertain?

Clients are becoming more intentional.

Every pound has to work harder, create impact, and express a brand’s personality with clarity and creativity.

This year has also reminded us just how powerful innovation can be. Several of our new products have really taken off. As always, it takes a bit of time for new ideas to catch on, but once they do, clients embrace them fully. One star performer has been the Neon Ring, whether it’s showcasing a company logo or finished with fresh or silk florals.

We’re also seeing a real buzz around programmable illuminated table centres and how they can sync perfectly with screens, LED trees, sound design, and music. With just a little early planning, you can create incredible, choreographed moments that completely shift the atmosphere in a room. We always knew this tech had big potential, and it’s great to see clients now asking for these effects as a core part of their events.

Lighting the Way Forward

Branded and printed illuminated pieces have also surged in popularity, from 2-metre printed columns and screens to spire poseur tables and our Logo Lantern centrepieces.

Looking ahead, we’re developing a new range of illuminated cocktail furniture to sit alongside our ever-growing collection of lit table centres. And as always, we’ll keep investing in the latest print and fabrication technologies so we stay ahead of the curve, while doing it as responsibly and sustainably as we can.

There’s a lot to be excited about.
