Creating a truly memorable event means curating an atmosphere that captures the imagination from the moment guests arrive. The brief? An “Oscars meets Gatsby” spectacle, perched high above Birmingham on the 16th floor of the Park Regis hotel. With panoramic views, gold statuettes, film reels and glowing props, our styling team brought cinematic magic to life. Striking the Right Tone at the Welcome Area
The tone was set from the first step. Guests were greeted with a dramatic photo backdrop, accented by our golden Hollywood statues. These towering icons of glamour were lit to perfection, casting an irresistible glow over the welcome board. The result? A red-carpet vibe that echoed vintage premieres and glamorous soirées of a bygone era.

Award-Season Inspired Elegance
When it came to the tables, our Art Deco Statuettes took centre stage—literally. Sculpted in bronze with warm white lit orbs, these centrepieces evoked the timeless elegance of award nights gone by. Perfectly poised and richly detailed, they delivered high-impact visuals while maintaining the refined elegance appropriate for a corporate gala.

A Logistical Challenge Worth Celebrating
Ordinarily, our event setups require a two-person crew. But for this event, we sent a four-strong team: Andy, TJ, Ashley, and Gary. Why? Because executing an event on the 16th floor, with limited lift capacity, demands strategic planning and sheer muscle.
Multiple lift runs, meticulous timing, and true teamwork were essential. From carrying prop panels and lightboxes to precisely placing each film reel, our team made it all look seamless—so that the only thing guests noticed was the wow factor.
This event is a testament to what happens when creative vision meets logistical precision. Every Art Deco statuette, every rotating reel, every golden glow was made possible by the hard work and coordination of a crew dedicated to excellence.
