Welcome to the reintroduction of our Table Art team! It time to meet the team. We’re a creative bunch with a passion for event design and making magic happen. From the office to the warehouse, our team is the heartbeat of everything we do. Get to know the people behind the scenes who make every event unforgettable.
Let’s start with the main man himself, Gary Martin. Gary is our Managing Director, but titles don’t tell the whole story. He’s not just about running the business—he’s all about creativity and fun. Think of him as our Chief Morale Officer, keeping everyone smiling even on the craziest of days. Gary’s days are as varied as they come. You’ll find him in Zoom meetings with clients, sketching out new concepts, or liaising with the design studio. He’s hands-on with everything, whether it’s climbing ladders, painting, or stapling something into place. When the weeks are manic, Gary doesn’t shy away from rolling up his sleeves. He loves event life and often jumps in on events to help, whether it’s with a large team or solo.
Now, let’s move on to the lovely Clare, who wears many hats at Table Art. Clare is Gary’s wife and our Office Manager. She keeps the whole operation running smoothly, and her secret weapon? A live sheet she adores. Clare’s role is vital—she arranges staff and decides who’s best suited for each task, almost like a game of Tetris. Her organisational skills are second to none, and she’s also in charge of the all-important task of wages. In short, she’s the one who makes sure we all get paid!
Next up is Andy, Clare’s right-hand man. Andy is the guy who straddles both office and warehouse life, ensuring that everything runs like clockwork. He’s the master of orders, components, and tech. Nothing gets past Andy. In recent years, Andy introduced the Rentman system, streamlining our processes and making everything more efficient. He also heads up technical developments at Table Art. From DMX Festoon lighting to Neon Ring Table Centres, Andy brings Gary’s concepts to life. He’s the brains behind our technical wizardry.
Let’s head to the warehouse, where Rob is the head honcho. Rob runs the team, making sure the guys are on top of getting orders ready. He’s a detail man, checking everything to ensure it’s clean, working, and ready to go. This summer, Rob and Andy have been hard at work on a significant project. They’ve consolidated our storage spaces under one roof, creating a massive warehouse at our head office in Leamington Spa. Rob’s got two trusty sidekicks, Kevin and Ashley, who help bring everything together.
Kevin has been with us for almost a decade now. In that time, he’s prepped hundreds of orders and traveled up and down the country, installing them at events. Kevin’s experience is invaluable, and he’s a crucial part of our warehouse team.
Heading back upstairs, meet Helen. This will be Helen’s tenth year at Table Art, and she shows no signs of slowing down. Helen primarily handles all our proposals, ensuring clients receive their quotes within hours of the request. Helen also creates our newsletters, blogs, and social media content for Instagram and Facebook. She may or may not be writing this meet the team blog! This summer, she’s been busier than ever, often found in the print room. She’s been prepping branded table centres and Gary’s pop-up fabric props, showing just how versatile she is.
Finally, let’s meet Sam, our go-to for all things LinkedIn and video animation. Sam works hard on producing unique and fun content that resonates with our customer base. Specialising in networking, she’s growing our LinkedIn presence at an exponential rate, and we’re already seeing the benefits in our orders. Sam’s expertise doesn’t stop there. She’s the mastermind behind our video animations, adding a dynamic touch to our content. Her creativity and skills are a significant asset to the team, helping us connect with clients in new and exciting ways.

From Gary’s leadership and Clare’s organisation to Andy’s technical expertise and Rob’s attention to detail, each member plays a crucial role.
