Creating an unforgettable end-of-year celebration is all about atmosphere, flow and brand impact — and Yopa’s Neon Nights event at Birmingham Library was a perfect example of how immersive event styling can transform a venue. For this corporate celebration, Table Art delivered bespoke event styling that brought Yopa’s bold brand identity to life across two floors of one of Birmingham’s most iconic spaces.
From a striking illuminated entrance to vibrant dining table centrepieces, every design element was carefully curated to reflect the Neon Nights theme while enhancing the guest journey. Using branded structures, pixel lighting and dynamic colour effects, we created visual moments that encouraged interaction, photography and connection throughout the evening. First impressions matter
At the library entrance, guests were welcomed by bespoke branded columns, printed to order with Yopa’s event branding. These structures immediately placed the brand front and centre, reinforcing the corporate identity while introducing the vibrant neon aesthetic. Printed columns are an ideal solution for corporate events, offering complete design flexibility and maximum visual impact.
Behind the columns, we layered pixel tubes and illuminated rope lighting, creating a dynamic entrance pathway that guided guests towards the escalators. This lighting installation didn’t just decorate the space — it created movement, energy and anticipation as guests made their way into the event.
A Fresh Addition
This lush artificial green wall is a fabulous new addition to the Table Art backdrop collection. Designed using high-quality artificial foliage, it offers a rich, textured base that feels both modern and elegant. For Yopa’s event, we enhanced the wall with bespoke LED light panels, which can be mixed and matched to suit different brands, colour palettes and themes.
To fully embrace the Neon Nights theme, we integrated neon rods into the foliage, adding pops of vibrant colour that contrasted beautifully with the greenery. The result was a bold yet refined backdrop that encouraged guests to stop, pose and interact. A red carpet placed in front of the wall completed the look, ensuring this photo moment felt intentional, premium and visually striking.
Pixel Poseurs and Full Moons
Here, we introduced a winning combination of Pixel Poseur Tables and Full Moon illuminated features. Simple yet impactful, these colourful installations acted as glowing beacons throughout the space, naturally drawing guests together. The pixel lighting offered a playful neon aesthetic while still feeling polished and professional — ideal for a corporate end-of-year event.
Poseur tables also provided practical functionality, giving guests a place to rest drinks while socialising. This balance of form and function is key when designing effective corporate event environments.
Lush Features
Positioned by the bar, our Pixel Tree became a true showstopper. Featuring elegant LED-lit leaves cascading overhead, it created a sparkling canopy of light that transformed the bar area into something truly magical.
This feature added height, drama and a sense of immersion, helping to visually anchor the bar within the wider space. Illuminated trees are particularly effective in large venues like Birmingham Library, where scale and structure can be used to dramatic effect.
A Cohesive Dining Experience
For the tables, we created bespoke branded centrepieces using illuminated cubes and mini pixel tubes. These elements kept Yopa’s branding front and centre while maintaining the vibrant neon colour palette through rainbow and DMX lighting effects.
The use of smaller-scale lighting on the tables ensured continuity with the wider event design, tying together the entrance, drinks reception and dining experience into one cohesive narrative.
