Contemporary and industrial table centre – As seen on TV
The Bright Idea centrepiece is a fusion of modern contemporary and traditional design with a filament lightbulb associated more with the first lightbulbs to be patented by Thomas Edison in 1879.
The lit table centre clicks easily into our Table Art Eglow light-power base and can be fully DMX radio controlled from any lighting desk. The same table centres can be used with an LED burning effect light bulb for a completely different look.
Featured on ‘The Apprentice’
Table Art provided table centres for the filming of the finale of BBC’s The Apprentice, series 17. The production team wanted a low-level table centre that would fit in with the traditional décor of the Grand Connaught Rooms, London.
The table centre would be required to provide enough brightness to light the faces of guests on the dining tables. After taking a sample to the boardroom to be screen checked, we provided 20 Bright Idea tablecentre units for the finale (originally broadcast March 2023).
Floral Detail
The Bright Idea is often paired with floral or foliage arrangements around the base. A floral arrangement elevates the look of the bulb, bringing natural styling to the industrial vibe of the centrepiece. Want to see how the tablecentres looked on TV? Watch on iplayer (subject to program availability) to see how they looked in the final of series 17.
