Table Art Goes Stateside
USA here we come! We love it when we get an unusual enquiry from a distant place. So we were really excited when, at the end of last year, an enquiry came in for a circus themed event in the heart of Silicon Valley, Palo Alto, California!
Robin Berman emailed us to say that she loved our products and couldn’t find anything like it in America. She is organising a charity ball in February 2019. The event is for all the top business people of Silicon Valley from companies such as Facebook, YouTube and Google. She explained that she had got in touch on the off chance that we could think of a way to supply her. This was despite the fact that the event was 5000 miles away on the other side of the USA. This is a great test for our systems that we flat pack including decor and decor lighting. We supply everything in efficient and safe packing. This keeps costs to a minimum and ensures it all arrives in one piece.
The brief was to create a circus themed event for about 400 guests at the JCC. She wanted equipment that could, not only be installed and operated by Californian AV engineers, but could also fit on to one 1.2m x 1m x 2.2m pallet for shipping. We thought that our Dream Circus and Greatest Showman designs would work best. We wanted to include DMX radio control lighting for the table art. Plus we wanted to include a 3m tall inflatable elephant and a 2.4m inflatable hot air balloon. Our technician has talked to Dan Knight of Knightvision productions in California about putting the control of our new Eglow 7 lights on to his Lighting desk. We have discussed sending a DMX signal to them with our transmitter. Also how we can hang and light the inflatable props from their trussing within the venue.
Table Art Goes Stateside with Dream Circus
This is the first time that our Dream Circus theming will appear in America. It will be at one of the biggest charity events of the year in California. We think the event will be a fantastic success. It’s also a chance to showcase our products in front of some of Silicon Valley’s most prominent business people. We are confident that everything will go to plan and importantly it will be the start of a great working relationship between Table Art and USA.
