The Venue
The Grand Hotel Birmingham
The Grand Hotel Birmingham is a venue that exudes elegance and charm. Its iconic Ballroom is a stunning setting for any event, and our team knows it well. The high ceilings, exquisite chandeliers, and historical ambiance provide the perfect backdrop for a variety of themes and setups.
For our collaboration with Mr & Mrs Grey, we had the pleasure of utilizing this magnificent space for three remarkable events. Each event was unique, showcasing the versatility of both the venue and our services.
Event One:
Branded Lanterns
For the first event, Jon hired our fabulous ‘Branded Lanterns’ featuring his clients’ branding. This was a brilliant idea that added a personalized touch to the decor. Helen played a crucial role in this process by sending a template to import the artwork into, ensuring that the lanterns perfectly matched the client’s branding. Once the design was finalized, we sent them to our trusty Latex printer and cutter. 🌟
The result was stunning. The lanterns not only illuminated the Ballroom but also highlighted the client’s brand in a subtle yet impactful way. Our full-service option meant that Jake had the pleasure of delivering and installing these lanterns, capturing the vibrant atmosphere with all the colorful hues in the room.
Event Two:
More Branded Lanterns
The success of the first event led to another booking in record time. For the second event, Jon once again opted for our ‘Branded Lanterns’. The consistency in branding created a cohesive look across the events, reinforcing the client’s presence and identity.
Jake’s expertise in installation ensured that the lanterns were perfectly placed, enhancing the overall ambiance of the Ballroom. The feedback from Jon and his clients was overwhelmingly positive, highlighting the importance of maintaining a consistent theme in event planning.
Event Three:
80s-Themed Extravaganza
The third event was where creativity truly took center stage. Jon wanted to transport his guests back to the vibrant 80s, and we were excited to take on the challenge. Jake and Fred teamed up to install and enhance the 80s theme with dazzling DMX lighting and our ‘Mirror Ball’ table centers.
The DMX lighting created a dynamic and electrifying atmosphere, while the mirror ball table centers added a touch of nostalgia and glamour. The Ballroom was transformed into a disco wonderland, complete with all the iconic elements of the 80s. Guests were thrilled, and the event was a resounding success.
The Cherry on Top: Fantastic Photos
One of the highlights of this collaboration was receiving fantastic photos from the events. Helen and Sam absolutely loved them and were so appreciative of the photographer’s work. 📸 The photos captured the essence of each event, showcasing the stunning decor, vibrant lighting, and joyful moments.
